(We like guided imagery meditation. Here’s one about mushroom bells.)
Imagine that you’re walking through a meadow clearing at sunset. The air is warm and the flowers and trees are bathed in a golden-pink light. A trail through the forest is padded with soft, lush circles of moss. You feel held and supported.
The way is lined with mushrooms as small as thimbles and as large as umbrellas.
A summer shower sweeps the horizon; the air shifts. You lay on the soft grass under a flat orange spotted mushroom. You are sheltered and safe. On each exhale, let go of everything you’ve been holding. You fall asleep to the sound of rain tinkling on the mushroom bells.
